Dinghy and safety boat fundraiser

As Stornoway Sailing Club has grown over the years, it has become apparent that there is a requirement for some bigger boats, which will allow the Club to get more youngsters safely out on the water at each session, and also allow us to introduce novice adults (generally the parents of our junior members!) to the sport.

Going hand-in-hand with this aspiration is a requirement to get a second, larger (around 5m), safety boat capable of towing the larger dinghies home when the wind drops, and to add flexibility to the safety cover we provide at each sailing session.

To this end, the Club has started a fundraising campaign on gofundme.com, and is pursuing grant funding from various sources.

If you would like to make a small donation to this extremely worthy cause, please click on this link , or contact the Club's Treasurer, Donald, if you wish to donate in person.
