SAILING (on-the-water)

These sessions, generally take place twice per week. One session mid-week and one session at the weekend. (Keep an eye on the Club's Facebook page for details.)

SHORE BASED 

Shore based sessions are normally held during the closed season and will, usually, include sessions on theory, weather, racing, ropework, navigation, boat maintenance & repair to name but a few. These sessions may replace some on-the-water sessions when weather or volunteer availability prevents us getting afloat. 

Depending on the content of the session, these may be held once or twice a week. 

REMINDER

With all club sessions, to participate you must:-

• be a fully paid-up member of Stornoway Sailing Club (for insurance purposes)
• and communicate your desire to attend/participate within the timescale stated on session details posted on the Facebook page so we can ensure we have enough safety cover and Club volunteers to run the session.
